Fall Semester Is Almost Over

Whewwwwww.....at last the most awaited time I have been longing for few months is almost over. One week more to go and I am ready to take another progress in school. I very glad and proud of myself despite of many difficulties along my way I am still kicking here wiggle my tail showing the excitement for summer vacation. I have no idea which of those things I am going to do this summer, but my current involvement in community service is always on my number one list and the rest I don't know yet. Maybe looking for a summer job is the second or working on the yard lol.. nah too boring I guess it might be taking another class this summer..Hmmm sounds very challenging... well, we will see, my mind is not set for anything yet.

Relieved

Todays is the schedule of our first exam in psychology. Whewwwwww.... I feel relieved at this moment after the several days of doing nothing else except reading my books all day. I was just stressful from being occupied for couples days focusing on reading my books all day and doing my other assignment as well. Ohh thanks goodness that the exam is finished, but hey... more exam is coming soon lol, semester is not end yet.:)

Another Week Have Gone

Today is Thursday, means tomorrow will the day to set a prioritize things to do since it going to be my free day in school, but doesn't mean that I am going to be setting all day without accomplishing anything. The first thing that I want to get done tomorrow is too follow up my volunteer application in Scottish Rite Hospital. I am sure some of you were familiar with this hospital. It's a non profit agency which hiring or accepting any individual whom willing to give their free service to the community and this agency needed more people who loves to offer their free time. I have been processing my papers since last month (January 26) unfortunately, my application is not done yet for some reason. As far as I know, they are going to undergo a back ground check-up for every applicants, and get immunize to prevent viruses. If you haven't done this yet, just make sure that you complete the two shots they required (MR and MMR). Fortunately, I still have the record of my last immunization 3 years ago at the St. Luke's Medical Center in Manila. Well, still crossing my finger hoping that this going to be done soon.

No More Stress At All

Today we have our second big exam on my speech class. I am very greatful to know when our teacher told us that we dont have any more big quiz, means today is the last exam, and we now focusing on our speech presentation that would be next Thursday. Sounds that majority of my classmates are happy after hearing this news from our teacher, and it could be a nice break to us since majority of us are taking 3 or more subjects this semester. Anyway, that all for now guys. Thanks for the visit

Back To School

Today is the official start of my class. This morning I woke-up early so my husband can drive me to school. I am really excited to meet my new teachers and classmate today, and I hope that I can meet even just one Filipino student inside the classromm so I won't get bored and not feeling alone. I think this is a normal scenario we encounter for the first day especially if you are around with American student. You never know how to approach your classmates or communicate with them since both parties feel the same thing (shy). I just hope sooner or later I will gain some friends here...(finger cross)lol.

Finally Register!

I am so glad that I finally registered on school school yesterday. My husband and I woke-up so early yesterday just to get in school as early as posible before we headed to work. As I recall on my recent post, I have been working with it for almost two days to enrol the subject that I want to get this semester. Well, I am not fortunate to get those because all section were filled so fast. I coudn't believe this happening this semester compare last year. Maybe lots of student were tranfered from private school to community school due to the arising cost of tuition, there's no doubt for that. Just imagine I have been checking 3 schools in Dallas, and found out that all section is not available anymore (full). Anyway, I finally registered the prerequisite subject that I need for my future career, though it is not the one that I want to get this semester, but I am still thankful for it. My hard work has been paid off!
